Laverstoke Mill

The whole point of our weekend away was to visit the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery, a belated birthday pressie to J.

After breakfast J organised a taxi to take us the 6 miles to the distillery. We had a cocktail masterclass, making 3 delicious cocktails, then a tour of the distillery before another cocktail in the bar. A stroll down to a lovely pub where we sat and played cards (waiting for them to serve evening meals). A delicious meal and then headed back to the hotel.

Our 4* hotel was not all it was cracked up to be and J has got a long list that she will be letting them know about. The distillery on the other hand was most enjoyable and I would recommend a visit and if you need to stay I would suggest the pub which was just a 10 minute walk away.
