I did not have a camera with me today and had to use the camera on my ancient mobile. This is the roof space in the church at Crosscanonby. St. John the Evangelist. There has been a church at this site since the 11 hundreds. It is said that ships carpenters constructed the roof supports. The arch seen in this shot is from the Roman fort in Maryport.
