Been a sticky old day

Easy Marmalade recipe (it said)   Boil for 7 to 10 minutes (it said)  Saucer test it and it'll wrinkle (it said)
HAH!   No way! One and a half hours later, it still hasn't got to setting point. There are more sticky plates and spoons around the kitchen than you can imagine. It's dripped everywhere, on the floor, on my foot, down the cupboard door, even on my sleeve. The sink is full of sticky things to wash
But - at last - it's in the jars. Tastes quite good actually
Now to see if it sets enough.  
Plum jam tomorrow, please let that be easier than today's exercise.
