Comfort break?

This woman was having a cigarette by the canal as I walked into town. I admire her bravery, and her balance. You have to give it to people who improvise; the only bench was occupied so she perched herself on a post. Plus I like her boots and stripes. She comes across as someone who knows what they want in life.

I was very productive today. Incredibly so. Everything from cleaning to DIY, washing and shopping, starting at 6.15 am. Watched a bit of Season 1 of American Gods (yes I know I’m late to that particular party) and took Dylan out for a walk in the sunshine. Exhausted come 5pm but looking forward to doing a bit of cooking when I get my energy back.
