Faithful hound

Polly's finding the stairs more of a challenge these days and keeps her ups and downs to a minimum. Therefore, whereas she used to come back up after her morning ablutions to wait in the bedroom while I do mine, now she just chillaxes on the bottom stair.

We had a really good walk on the common today, bumping into lots of the dogs' best friends out enjoying the lovely weather.  First there were the Westies, Henry, Molly and Matilda, then the fox terriers, Herb and Gwen, followed by the Bernese and Australian mountain dogs whose names escape me, and finally a Cockerpoo, a big hound and a Dalmation who we met for the first time.  Consequently it took half an hour longer than usual and the dogs have been very quiet this afternoon!
