Bootees

Chantelle has been here since Saturday afternoon, and we've all been running around worshipping her. I took quite a few pics this weekend but this one of her chubby little legs and cute boots is my favourite.

Nick and Nibs went out to a party near us on Saturday night, leaving us babysitting. It's been a long time since I slept with a baby monitor by the bed, and must be out of practice because when she woke up, I did not! Chris did and had to shake me awake and I staggered downstairs on those jelly legs you have when you've woken up and got out of bed far, far more quickly than you'd like!

It was 6.45 am so I took her in with us, Betsy and Al came along too, so we were five in the bed, plus six teddies and an Eyore.

Nick went with Chris to each Betsy's football match and then we had our mini Christmas, with a big roast with crackers and presents afterwards.

They left at about four and I dragged everyone to the park but we'd only got about five minutes from the gate when it began to rain torrentially. No one impressed with me as they hadn't really wanted to go anyway!
