Isn't it great when things all come together?

Today my husband and I had a day with just the two of us for company - something very rare and very precious but maybe for those reasons all the more enjoyable.

A lovely lunch, a shop, a walk in the hills and three hours relaxing in a spa complex before home to a delicious take away and the final episodes of The Killing. Perfect.

Even more perfect though was being woken by the five year old bouncing on us this morning - I am sure I am not the only one in light of the killings of those children who are not cherishing everything that we are lucky to have...
