Santacopter
Father Christmas arrived at Worsley Golf Club in a helicopter today. Jude and I gatecrashed the children's Christmas party, we got a hot turkey barm and saw the Santacopter.
It was great, the helicopter landed right in front of the club house. We all rushed out when someone shouted that they could see the chopper coming, it was quite exciting. I was taking photos and didn't realise it was so close until the gush of air nearly blew us over....it was a great feeling.
I went to the Secret Garden teashop twice today. I nipped in for a quick cuppa with Jude just before we did our gatecrashing and there was a sign up about a Bollywood Experience. Pat and I went along late afternoon. There were clothes to try on, jewellery and hand painting. I decided to have a mendhi that started on my arm and weaves down my index finger. It looks great as it darkens.
I could be a Record Breaker too!!! I went along to the church across The Green for the carol service with Carey this evening. There was an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of carol singers across multiple locations. During the service at 7pm (sharp) we sang for fifteen minutes the set five carols in order. As we finished just before the fifteen minutes we had to sing the first verse of Silent Night again. Some of the church members had to be official stewards who walked up and down and checked we were singing. Others were filming us. It was hilarious as they stared at us checking, Carey and I were trying not to laugh. I was guffawing inwardly though.
I bought a Christmas tree today but I've been so busy I will have to decorate it tomorrow.
