Obscured Camera

Time for the annual trip to the Castle where some local schoolchildren were filling the Great Hall with Christmas carols sung sweetly. Afterwards we decided to venture into the Camera Obscura experience. One for the bored tourist as it has very little to do with Edinburgh, but is still a worthy diversion in its own right. The kids absolutely loved it and we spent a long time experiencing the many optical illusions, holograms, mirror maze, kaleidoscopes ad infinitum.
Unfortunately it was too dark to visit the actual Camera Obscura....maybe next time. This is the view of the Castle from the rooftop terrace.
