Lunch in Chinatown today.... Son and I took the light rail down and met up with my sister, her husband (who's birthday we were celebrating), and my nephew and his girlfriend. We ate at Kau Kau BBQ - there was a TON of food so nobody left hungry. It was ok - but probably would not eat there again because the fried items were way too greasy. Their best thing is the BBQ'd pork.

We took pubtrans (is that at thing? I just shortened public transportation) home again.

Interesting article in the Sunday paper about the Snake River and the controversy over a new push to demolish some of the dams. It's an incredibly complex issue. One of those kinds of things that calls for an educated populace, who can weigh all the arguments and do what's best for the long term.
