Carlsbad Flower Fields

The hillside is covered in orderly rows of ranunculus blooms.
You can see them up close in the extra photo.
The bulbs have been planted to bloom in succession so that a part of the field is always in bloom from March 1 through May 10. So toady, the north end of the field was done, and the south end had not started blooming yet.
The grand finale is a blooming American Flag made from petunias.
