Evening Light
A walk down a lane in Sussex.
The evening light was almost magical ( too much so for a phone camera). Perhaps that is why the tree on the right seems to have a circular hole through its trunk. I shall have to check again to see if it is really there.
I liked these still bare trees sitting in the huge stubble field. Looked at from a number of angles we could see that the trees were in lines, marking where hedgerows had been before they were grubbed out.
In the distance the South Downs, And close scrutiny will reveal a wind turbine, It is at Glyndbourne, home of the three month long summer opera festival.
