Fog (or maybe just a dirty lens) on the Tone

Christmas shopping in Taunton again today and this is the road bridge that crosses the River Tone, from which Taunton, Somerset's county town gets its name, captured on the way back to the car park. No other blip opportunities today so, despite the misted up lens, this is today's offering.

Our old friend Martyn, who I've known for almost 50 years and was Best Man at our wedding, and his wife Elma called in this afternoon; they live in Torquay and we only get to meet up once or twice a year - isn't it wonderful that despite the long gaps between meetings, you can meet up with old friends like this and slip back into easy companionship so comfortably.
