Big Waves at Carskey

Despite some heavy squally showers in the morning  it had started to look brighter so we decided to drive the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach to Carskey Bay.
The waves were looking very spectacular in the blustery weather.
We walked or rather struggled along to the far end of the beach heading into the wind and got blown all the way back. Just before we got back to the car a shower appeared but we got off lightly and got to the car before the rain really came down.
A very exhilarating walk along the beach today :-)
