Risley Moss

My photography club have been asked to participate in a lottery funded project called carbon landscape which is preserving some of the moss lands of south Lancashire. As well as going out with the club to take our own images, I’ve also agreed to help lead a workshop for a local group of young people in a couple of weeks time. As Risley Moss was a site I’d not visited before I thought I should have a recce today.
It was a fabulous mixture of woodland, wet woodland and moss land. Plus the weather was fab, and the woodland just starting to be tinged with the green of Spring. I will definitely be visiting again!
