Full on
Woke to stunning sunshine and enjoyed a wander along the river by the hotel before then again after breakfast, before heading over to Dunkeld for a little explore then quad bike trekking for T&Kt. Apart from a rather timid woman in front of them slowing them down they had a great time negotiating the woods and riverside then roaring across the fields on the way back. We headed over to the Hermitage for the by now traditional walk to and around the falls. Played Pooh sticks with massive logs, found newts, frogs and frogspawn in the rock pools and clambered on the rocks in the sunshine...lovely.
Set off down to the next adventure and they had their first chance to go clay pigeon shooting without an instructor now they have their own licenses. They had a great time wandering through the woods to the various sets and T was particularly successful with the ‘rabbit’ (ie where the clay is sent across the ground rather than up into the air). They had one cartridge left and I had a go and to everyone’s amazement hit the clay!
Home and some relaxation time drinking G&Ts and watching vet programmes, chatting about my planned home improvements, before out to the Chophouse for a huge shared porterhouse steak and lots of side dishes. Good gracious we’re all stuffed and exhausted after a lovely day (extras)
