Shy girl, big girl

Went out with friends for a Christmas lunch today. Rebecca really surprised me by being clingy and shy. She clutched onto me for at least 30 minutes.

We did manage to get her sitting on her own, on a proper chair, instead of a high chair. After that and some food she was her usual, happy self. Weird though. I suspect it's a developmental stage.

This evening we converted Rebecca's cot into a bed! Early. Well, a month earlier than with Elizabeth. But she hates her cot. I can only get her to sleep in it if I put her down already asleep. And she doesn't last long before coming into our bed.

We'll see how it goes.
