Consolation Prize?

I heard a rumour of a possible sighting of Northern Lights tonight.
You'd think by now I'd KNOW better than to try - it guarantees 10/10 cloud cover within several miles of Penrith EVERY time.
However, undaunted, I had a bit of a tootle round the hinterlands in search of dark. In point of fact it was so damn dark I could see neither stars nor tell if there was still a moon.
En route home I spotted this & paused a while. Must go back with a torch, etc. some time I did have the tripod, but dammall illumination, so I don't reckon I did TOO bad for a 1 second hand-held shot?
