Today I decided to cheekily go to Richmond for a walk, instead of pushing through the crowds in the shops, to finish off my Christmas shopping!

I was looking forward to a lovely river sunset, but suddenly dark clouds appeared from nowhere, so no sunset unfortunately, just rain and I was caught without my umbrella (my punishment for not finishing that shopping?!)

On my walk back, the river had flooded over the path as you can see in this shot. I didn't take the 'swimming back to the station' option though.
