This railway line in Portobello used to be one of the principal industrial arteries pumping coal and barley into ships at Leith docks and taking Scandinavian wood for pit props in the other direction.

As we stand on the eve of the most momentous week yet in the Brexit process a million take to the streets of London to protest. I do hope common sense will prevail ... but I am not holding my breath!
