Leylandii Burns ...

Was a minor Hollywood actress in the 1930s from Barrow-in-Furness. She played supporting roles in films like, ‘Hot cat on a fir roof’; The Sitka Tapes; and ‘My Romantic Scot’s Pining’. She died of neglect in an overgrown monocultural hedgerow in a lesser known part of Tuscany. There was a good turnout at her funeral and the fires burnt long into the clear Casentino night.
