Back in the Commuting Saddle

It's been three weeks since I last commuted by bike, when a fairly major mechanical put the Elephant Bike into the shed on long-term leave. Maybe I needed the break from it, because I slipped into taking the bus and tram, and occasionally the car, very easily. But, I can safely say it was great to finally sort out the unexpectedly complicated mechanical, and the break has done me good, cos I flew in and out today - just a couple of minutes slower door to desk to door than the car, and a whacking great load quicker than public transport.
