Geese

These Canada geese were making a lot of noise this morning, though I don't know what was bothering them. Some squabble related to personal space I daresay. Mostly they seem to be concerned about eating. I haven't ever seen a nest, so I guess they just visit this riverside field for feeding purposes. There are a lot of small lakes in the area, where I expect it's more secure for roosting. We very often see them flying over the house on their way to and from the river at dawn and dusk.

The extra is another bare tree, before bud break hides these views again until next winter.
