Starry Reflection

Our spiral Christmas tree is installed!

Here you see it, together with its reflection in our dining-room table.

Thus we present the first concession in our house to the approach of the festivities. This tree has figured in several previous submissions, such as this one from last year, where you see it from outside. We roused the tree from its sleep in our loft, and put it up this afternoon. Now, I suppose, we'll slowly gather a few other decorations and ornaments and get those in their places. But in view of the amount of time it took to reconstruct the spiral, it may be that we will tend towards minimalism.
