Rydal Cottage

CCN and I took her sister and brother-in-law from Bundaberg for a drive today. We decided to drive west and show them the little village of Rydal and then head over to Tarana to the pub for lunch. It was the first time they had seen any sunshine in three days so it was quite a relief. I took this photo at my friend Carol’s property in Rydal. This is the little historic cottage that she restored and currently lets out to travellers. It’s a quaint little 1 bedder but very comfortable and cosy. We called by to inspect the new house that she is building at the top part of the block before heading on to the pub. It was a delightful day and it made a nice change from the mountains.
