Never thought that a couple of pints of Guinness and a shot of absinthe (sounded like a good idea at the time...) would make me feel all new-renaissancy.

This is a rather inebriated self-portrait in my favourite pub (I am tagging it as always, see if I call pull a Smithski on that one - come to think about it I doubt it very much, as Ciarán the owner admits freely to not owning a computer. If you ask him he'll mumble that he has vaguely heard of the internet but won't expand on the topic. Must be one of the reasons why his pub is deliciously stuck in a space/time continuum when blackberries were a fruit...)
