Before the Concert

We went to our first concert in the Village Hall. It's still a novelty for us to be able to walk to all the local amenities, like the shop, the pub, the train station and this hall.
The concert was by a brilliant folk singer called Bram Taylor. He sang some beautiful songs. One of them was called 'The Two Brothers'. It was a mother telling her two boys - Palestine and Israel to stop fighting and love each other. Poignant.
Bram was also very funny and had lots of funny anecdotes and a folder filled with misprints from church magazines. He had us all in tears with laughter!
