Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Aargh!

Out and about in Crewe today. We spent the morning setting everything up for the delegates arriving around 4pm. We were very organised and effective and managed to get everything done in good time so I seized the opportunity to go out for a walk.
I was walking along the main road into town when I came across this sign. Sometimes I despair - what hope have children got when commercial companies put up signs like this.
The food here is very good a delicious lunch of baked goats cheese with salad followed by home made veg curry, then strawberries in fruit coulis for lunch - I had expected a sandwich with maybe a bowl of soup!
Our delegates all arrived, we settled everybody on and had a few icebreaker activities then it was time for dinner of cod and chips followed by fresh pineapple marinated in caramel sauce. After a short break we got underway. I delivered my first talk which was well received. Three more tomorrow and one on Sunday, phew. I'm not sure I'll get much chance to walk tomorrow, so I'm glad I managed 14130 steps today which makes 2/2 so far.
