All of a flutter

Walking along the canal today this single swan took a shine to my sister and I. He/she followed us for about a mile and sporadically gave us a display of ruffled feathers and madly flapped its wings. I am not sure if it was trying to impress us or was being aggressive.

On other news my sister’s cancer outcome was not as good as was hoped. She has to have 6 rounds of chemo followed by a mastectomy and posssible radiation treatment. The doctor did say she should be clear of treatment by Christmas.
It may be a long year.
