The Old Forge (Wednesday 20th March 2019)
The Spring Equinox and the forsythia is only now fully out.
This was also taken with a close-up filter lens but from a different set on a different camera. I had previously used these 67mm filters with the 17-70mm lens that I no longer have, but with the use of two new step-up rings I was able to attach one to my 55-300mm lens which has a 58mm diameter thread. The depth of field is very narrow so was quite tricky without a tripod.
The Equinox also marked the first Gardening Wednesday of the year with Refna in her Hotdiggity Gardener role, awakening the pot plants and potting on, while I assisted and did odds and ends in the front yard.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Rachel's - The Mysterious Disappearance Of Louis LePrince (recorded between 1997 and 1999)
Rachel's: Rachel Grimes (piano, synthicord, vocal), Christian Frederickson (viola, fake instruments, accordion, sound effects), Eve Miller (cello), Jason Noble (drum machine, bass, snare drum), Edward Grimes (drums)
I discovered this outfit from Louisville KY on Radio 3's much missed Mixing It programme (and now their flagship Late Junction show is said to be being cut back to one show per week so that the station can compete with the abysmal Classic FM). This comes from their 1999 album Selenography which I played on this day.
