Not another one

On the surface an odd consequence of the austerity bought in by the encumbent government of this country is the lack of road sweepers. This means that all sorts of rubbish lurks in the gutters, not least nails. I regularly get punctures in my car tyres and yesterday was no exception, the first one this year mind. I joined the queue of people in their cars waiting to have their tyres repaired/replaced and eventually had an enormous nail taken out and a patch put on the tyre.
Revived myself with a stroll on Hampstead Heath with a friend, a beautiful Spring morning.
