Day at Sea
Today is the day I've kinda been dreading. Portrait day. Not my strong subject, but need to start somewhere.
Biggest problem on this ship has been light. The whole ship is done out like a night club, with equally bad lighting. A real problem. So we had spent a few hours scouting the ship over the previous few days trying to find a location that would work. In the end we found a lightly travelled lounge near the rear of the ship that worked perfectly.
So we had everyone meet us there.
The lounge had 6 sofas, so of course we moved everything round to suit our needs. We used a sofa for big group shots (with people standing of course) and a nice armchair for "couple" shots (one person sitting and one person standing). I think we made it work.
300 photographs later we had done everything, and little Clark was spotted against this window. Not sure if it's a competition entry, but it might be. I like it, but not sure if it's strong enough. Maybe I'll up the b/w contrast - that'll make it stronger ;)
Today was spent at sea heading back to Port Canaveral. Ship was a lot busier than usual, but still didn't feel crowded which was nice.
