Portrait of a Yogi

I walked over to her table to see how Sooz's collage was progressing, saw the portrait she had added, and said, "Is that Paramahansa Yogananda?" It was! I had read his "Autobiography of a Yogi" when I was in my youth, and recognized his image from the cover.

From the website paramhansayogananda.com:
Long before Yogananda was born, a saint named Babaji lived in the Himalayas. One day Jesus appeared to him and told him that although Jesus’s followers still do good works, they have forgotten how to commune with Him inwardly in meditation.
Jesus told Babaji to send someone to the West to remind His people that the goal of life is to become one with God through inner communion. That person was to be Yogananda.

Extras:
1. Sooz Gelli plate print collage (still in progress). (The image of Yogananda is painted, not printed.) Note that the Extras on the page with the first state have now been included in this state of the collage.
2. "God! God! God!" A poem by Paramahansa Yogananda.
