It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Today was the day for the annual poinsettia purchase. Living in a fourth floor flat, a real Christmas tree is just too much like hard work (did it the first year I lived here - never again. It lived on the balcony until March whilst we worked out how to get it downstairs without spreading needles over the entire apartment block. It was an old sheet that came to the rescue in the end, as tempting as it sometimes was to think about pushing it off the balcony...). So a huge poinsettia it is!
