Grebe

Taking the dogs for a walk by the river proved a fruitless exercise this afternoon as it had totally burst it's banks and not to be persuaded by the endearing/pleading looks there was no way the westies were going near it! 

I did get out of the car tho' when a great-crested grebe swam down with the current. Fortuitously!
