Happy Holi

We started the day with some gentle celebration of Holi, the Hindu Spring festival where people get splashed with coloured powder. The greetings in my blip was on the floor of the entrance hall of the hotel and worked in the paint powder.

We then set off in our taxis to catch the Toy Train to Shimla. We drove through lots of towns and villages where young men and women with purple, green and blue hair and skin were having a great time. See extra.

We only did the last 3 hours of the train journey, catching the train along the line. See extras of our train pulling into the station and another of the carriages (specially for Legodude). It was an amazing journey with bends and tunnels as we climbed up towards Shimla.

We are now comfortable in our hotel and here for two nights.
