Meet the parents

After discovering frog spawn for the first time in our pond earlier this week, I hoped to catch a glimpse of a frog. And I did ( see extra)! I went to check on her/him later and discovered two, sitting side by side. By the time I rushed to get my camera, the second one was underwater, but you can still see him/her.
I also did my first real gardening of the year - weeding my vegetable and strawberry beds and planting some kale, which will be eaten by the bunnies when it’s ready. Bunnies seemed none the worse for their night outside and seem happy and lively today. Benji did see a badger for the first time, but he was ok - alert and ready to hide, but it wasn't necessary. The badger preferred his peanut butter sandwiches and digging up my garden for worms to be worrying  bunnies.
