Walk

I went to meet the school this morning as the 21st century leader before they went into the Victorian schoolroom, to find the gates had been opened early, and not only were the class in, but off the coach and waiting for me. We decided to walk instead.when we first started education at LC the walk up was the norm, but due to time (lack of) we rarely do it these days. The children were very excited, the teacher enthusiastic and we set off. It was a joy to see the wonder and interest in this class. It was the first time the school had visited, and I am sure they will be back. I’m not sure who enjoyed the walk the most, me or the children! I even managed a few photos as I went!

Such a contrast from the school yesterday, who I learnt today caused havoc as they left, necessitating my staff having to implement yet more procedures because of one school’s lack of consideration for other visitors on site.
