Summer in Winter

Thank you soooo much for all of your wonderful comments yesterday - I was really touched with all of the attention, and I honestly feel like I now have 2 or 3 birthdays a year, thanks to blip!

A couple of weeks I blipped my friend Jodie who was 8 and a half months pregnant at the time. On Friday Jodie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, named Summer. We went to visit them at the hospital today (they still like to keep women in for 5 days in Cyprus!), and I was so taken with Summer's tiny little fingers, but more so I was taken with the look on Jodie's face... she was totally in love with little bundle of joy, and she truly radiated with that joy and love. I'm getting all misty again just writing about it! Welcome to the world Summer. x
