The Glasgow Style
The style was pioneered by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Glasgow manufacturers adapted it to appeal to middle class consumers and Mackintosh motifs can be spotted all over the city today and in many homes. The Glasgow style is often considered the Scottish form of the Art Nouveau movement that flourished between 1890 and 1910.
