Equinamity

It's equinox, spring up here and autumn down there... but importantly it's a time of balance. Day and night share equal time. Compromise, if you will, between the light and the dark.

Away from the natural world, it's anything but. In Westminster the dictator strives to make progress against the waves of politicians eager to hold power but ever more aware that the cliff edge approaches.

And perhaps as much as Brexit is torturously and hideously annoying, it could overall be no more than a punctuation mark in the final chapter of humanities story. 

Which flag we fly is inconceivably less important than whether we have water in our taps. That's not to say I'm any less exercised about the stupidity of Brexit. But perhaps the kids have it right.

It's equinox, and the green man watches with equimanity. He is after all the progenitor of all life, not just silly humans. And yes, it's the clever topiary work at Dyrham Park, run through an antique paper filter.
