Tiny Elephants....

...but not tiny enough.... 

The first year we were married there was a lovely elderly couple (probably my age now, lol) who lived across the street and we got to be very good friends.  They had a beautiful collection of hand carved wooden elephants that I admired.  Sadly, the husband passed away and when his wife was getting ready to move closer to her daughter, she gave us the biggest elephant in the collection.  That's how my elephant collection started about 46 years ago.  Since then I have purchased and people have given me elephants of all kinds, including jewelry.  I can't remember where I got these earrings but they are too heavy for me to wear.  I actually forgot I had them and I found them today while I was looking for something tiny.  Many thanks to dbifulco for hosting Tiny Tuesdays this month!

When I got up this morning I was coughing and sneezing.  I thought for sure I had caught Becky's cold despite being very careful.  After a few hours it cleared up, so it must have been allergy or some kind of irritant.  Anyway, I feel fine and I'm grateful for that! :-)
