Hanging Around in the Woods
BB had football this morning and I was providing his taxi. First of all I made a pot of minestrone soup and got started on the laundry mountain. Once I had dropped BB off, I returned home to go out for a run. It was too windy – but I battled on and was pleased to finish with seven miles done. I even quite enjoyed it – apart from the wind. There was more laundry to be done and a cake to be baked.
After a late lunch we headed down the coast, parked at Cove and went for a walk by Cockburnspath and Dunglass. It was muddy in places – very muddy! While the snowdrops were almost all past, we spotted a few primroses in the woods. We were rained and hailed on and we even had blue skies and sunshine. The weather is very changeable at the moment.
It was then home via the supermarket and I was on tea. Later I attacked the ironing mountain.
A rare glimpse of BB – he wouldn’t look at the camera!
