Always like it when birds pick the most man-made of perching posts. Definitely daylight on the way to football. Strange game - early on we traded goals and then our team suffered a mini-collapse and conceded six in quick succession to go five goals down. Must admit thought that was probably it, although we kept plugging away. Scored a particularly satisfying goal as S and I played quick one-twos to cut though their defence. On of their defenders held his hands up - just too good he said and shook my hand in congratulations. Okay, so not quite Messi against Real Betis but still it felt good! Better was to come as we brought ourselves back to within a goal and it definitely felt like game-on. I scored the equaliser after another great pass from S and then he got what turned out to be the winner (no Scotland-like last minute equaliser to spoil our comeback).
