On watch

Domestic stuff, ordered a rug for the living room (it was on offer - the room's still a building site and won't be ready for a rug just yet!), and Tai Chi.

Then, late in the afternoon, MrM and I walked around the Common via Cyril's hide. A red squirrel on the feeder there was enjoying its supper, so we didn't go close enough to disturb it. Mr and Mrs Mallard had strayed away from the pond and, while he kept a watchful eye, she searched for seed under one of the feeders. Windy and cold up on the Common, and we were both quite glad to get back to the car to warm up!

Another evening of filling holes in the walls awaits...
