Strange Fruit

I'd never heard of Grains Of Paradise before finding them in a well known food emporium in that there fancy pants London.  I was quite taken with the idea of just sowing a few of them in the garden to see what happens.

Not much else to report.  I've got the standard cold after flying.  My voice is a raspy nonsense and I'm doing some sort of manopause thing where I have hot flushes followed by severe chills. 

I spent most of today in bed.  And will probably spend most of this evening there as well
