Hebes

On my way to yoga on the bus I spotted men at work on the borders in Atholl Crescent - I nipped back to greet bignoniodes and compliment them on how well the planting had looked through the winter. We both admitted to being generally lukewarm about hebes (pace, cabbagetree!), but agreed that the red version makes a very handsome permanent planting.
