Basking……

…………………..in Sunlight



As I walked out the door to work in the garden this afternoon I noticed this flower basking in a spot of sunlight. The background was in dark shadow and made a lovely backdrop.



Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s unknown insect. It’s still a puzzle, but after some research online, I am wondering if it is a drone fly.
