California gull

It was a warm and sunny day, and I enjoyed a bike ride to the beach for a time of sea glass gathering. On the way home, I decided it would be nice to roll hubby down to the end of the pier for his favorite strawberry milkshake. But by the time I got home the sky had darkened with a rogue marine layer. Still, hubby was game to go, and in the midst of his treat the sun came out again and gave us this view.
