Muesli Loaf

We have a French baker in our neck of the woods which opens at 7am and I was there shortly after to buy this muesli loaf for the meal tonight with Poppy and Mike who are expected later on their return from Madeira.

The soup has been made and the beef stew is ready in the slow cooker. It was all planned with military precision as I was expecting my friend from school, up from London on a visit, to come for coffee this morning and I also wanted to hang out with the muscle bound at the gym for an hour this afternoon.

So all is ready as I await the arrival of flight LS736 from Funchal to Edinburgh. If it’s very late and I get very hungry, I may have to start on the loaf myself, not to mention the beef stew.............
